Textual Analysis

When doing my textual analysis, the two magazines which I chose as examples for my own magazine are Kerrang! and Rocksound. I felt that these were great choices as there target audience is similar to the magazine of which I want to produce, which is the Rock/Indie genre. When analysing the two magazines, I looked at both the front cover and their contents page to help give me an understanding of what to include in my own. The aspects which I looked at primarily where the photography, layout, colours and content.
